This tool is provided by REDE, a real estate technology platform. When you use a version of this tool branded for a specific real estate agent, that agent is a party you are choosing to share your contact information with; the REDE platform operates the tool on their behalf. The numbers you enter into the calculator are processed in your browser to produce your results, and your saved settings and Pro status are stored only in your browser. They are not sent to us or stored on our servers.
STRcalc also offers optional AI features (Pro): the AI Narrator, Expense Check, What-If, and Listing tools. When you choose to run one, the inputs for that analysis — such as the property address and your figures — are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the result. REDE does not store or read those inputs and does not use them for advertising; the AI provider processes them under its own terms. If you don't use the AI features, nothing you type is transmitted.
If you unlock Pro or ask us to email your results, your email address is used to send your access code and any reports you request. Your name and email are also provided to the real estate agent whose version of the tool you used (REDE on the house version). That agent controls their copy of your contact details and may follow up with you, including with marketing; you can ask them to stop at any time. We do not sell your information.
Where data leaves your device, it is handled only by the providers needed to run the service: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), the AI provider that generates analyses, and our email provider for verification codes and requested reports. Payment for paid agent subscriptions is handled by Stripe, which stores card details — we never see them.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, or any advertising or cross-site tracking technology on this tool. We do not build advertising profiles from your data.
This tool uses only what is strictly necessary to function — remembering your light/dark theme choice and, for Pro, your unlock status — stored in your browser's local storage, not in tracking cookies. No advertising or cross-site cookies are set.
You can use the calculator without giving us any personal information. If you have given us your email, you can ask us to delete our copy at any time via support@redeapps.com (to have an agent delete their copy, contact that agent). If you are a resident of California or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
This tool is intended for adults making real estate decisions and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Where data is transmitted, it is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
